Afghanistan: Police recover explosive-ridden bicycle from Kabul
Kabul, Aug 4 (IBNS): The Afghan National Police (ANP) has detected an explosive-rigged bicycle at Bibi Mahro area in Kabul city, Ministry of Interior Affairs said.
"The timely discovery of the explosives has foiled terror attack and saved the city from tragedy," the Ministry said in a statement.
Discoveries like this demonstrate the ever-increasing capability of Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) to protect the civilians from indiscriminate IED attacks, read the statement.
Afghan National Police asks all citizens to report suspicious activities and criminal acts by dialing 119.
