Afghanistan: Nangarhar blasts claim two lives

Kabul, July 9 (IBNS): At two people, including a terrorist, were killed as two back-to-back blasts rocked eastern Nangarhar province in Afghanistan on Monday, media reports said.

According to reports, the blasts left nine others injured.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the first explosion took place in Chaparhar district, where an explosive device went off at a fair at 10am.

The injured people were shifted to Jalalabad Zonal Hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.

Afghanistan has been hit by several terrorism-related incidents in recent times.
