Afghanistan: Five dead in Maidan Wardak blast

Kabul, Oct 27 (IBNS): At least five people were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan's Maidan Wardak province, reports said.

The incident took place on Saturday morning.

Local Tolo News quoted officials as saying that the blast took place near an army repair workshop in Maidan Shar city.

The network also quoted another source as claiming that at least seven people were killed while 33 others sustained wounds.

No group has claimed responsibility of carrying out the attack so far.
