Afghanistan: Fire breaks out in Kabul market

Kabul, Jan 27 (IBNS): Several shops were gutted as a fire broke out at a market in Kabul city of Afghanistan on Sunday, media reports said.

The market, where the fire broke out, is known as the Mandavi bazaar.

Naqibullah, a shopkeeper, told Pajhwok Afghan News the fire erupted at 6:30am but the reason behind the fire was yet to be known.

The fire quickly spread to nearby markets of Milad, Dawee and Raihan, he told the news agency.

Firefighters rushed to the spot after the fire broke out.

No casualty has been reported so far.
