Afghanistan: Explosion rocks Kabul city, four killed

Kabul, May 31 (IBNS): At least four civilians were killed as a heavy explosion rocked Afghanistan capital Kabul city on Friday, media reports said.

According to reports, the explosion occurred close to the military academy in the west of Kabul.

Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Ministry of Interior Affairs, told TOLO news that the explosion happened in Qala-e-Wazir area in Kabul’s PD9 and that it was a car bomb blast. 

The  explosion occurred at around 8.30 am.

Eyewitnesses and police sources told Tolo News the explosion targeted a foreign forces convoy.
