Afghanistan: Anti terrorism operation kills senior Taliban leader Nasir Ahmad
Kabul, Mar 29 (IBNS): The most senior Taliban leader, Nasir Ahmad, has been killed in an anti-terrorism operation, local Khaama Press reported.
The incident took place in Laghman province of the country.
The operation also killed another leader, identified as Rohullah.
The deaths were confirmed by government officials, the agency reported.
An operation to kill Ahmad also also conducted a month ago, but the militant managed to escape.
