Afghanistan: 6 NATO soldiers killed in Bagram suicide car bomb attack

Bagram, Dec 21 (IBNS): At least six service members of the NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) mission were killed as a suicide car bomb attack occurred in northern Parwan province of Afghanistan, media reports said.
 
“Six Resolute Support service members died as a result of a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack in Bagram, Afghanistan on December 21 at approximately 1:30 pm,” a statement by NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) mission said.
 
"We’re deeply saddened by this loss,” Khaama News Agency quoted Brig. Gen. Wilson A. Shoffner, Resolute Support Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications as sying. 
 
“On behalf of General Campbell and all of Resolute Support, our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families and friends of those affected in this tragic incident, especially during this holiday season," he said.
 
The mission said that the incident is currently under investigation.
