Afghanistan: 3 terrorists shot dead close to Farah airport

Kabul, Aug 24 (IBNS): Afghanistan security forces on Saturday killed three terrorists as they were attempting to carry out a series of target killings close to Farah airport in West of Afghanistan, media reports said.

The Farah Police Headquarters said in a statement that the terrorists were looking to kill governmental employees in Falka area of Farah airport, reported Khaama Press.

The statement further added that the security forces identified the terrorists before they manage to carry out the target killings, read the statement.

No terror group has commented on the issue so far.
