Virat Kohli shares old picture to wish MS Dhoni on birthday

Mumbai/IBNS: Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli shared an old picture on social media to wish his predecessor Mahendra Singh Dhoni on the latter's birthday.

Kohli took to Twitter to share a picture from the victory of 2011 World Cup.

"Happy birthday skip," he tweeted.

Dhoni, who turned 40 on Wednesday, retired from international cricket in 2020.

The wicketkeeper batsman, who made his international debut in 2004, is, however, continuing with his Indian Premier League (IPL) stint.

In 2011, Dhoni became the second Indian captain to lift the World Cup, four years after he was handed over the captaincy.

Besides captaincy, he is also known as one of the best finishers in world cricket, often compared to former Australian player Michael Bevan.
