Ranveer Singh plays an urban character in Dil Dhadakne Do

​​Mumbai, Apr 8 (IBNS): Ranveer Singh is playing an urban character in Dil Dhadakne Do.
This is the first time he will be playing such a character.

In the past he has played a small town or village boy in his films, but never an urban character. 
 
In Dil Dhadakne Do, Ranveer belongs to an upper class Punjabi family that is on a cruise trip across the Mediterranean.

His character has a casual and comfortable, yet classy look that is being loved by people.

This is the first time he is carrying off such a look and he is receiving an overwhelming response for it. His look has been garnering praises galore.

Dil Dhadakne Do, directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, is one of the most awaited films this year.

It is slated for release on  June 5.
