Priyanka Chopra's Rs 1.4 lakh red Karwa Chauth look turns heads, Nick Jonas' gesture wins hearts

Sharing a series of family pictures on Instagram, the actor revealed that Nick had made special arrangements to return home from his music tour so they could celebrate the occasion together.

"He came home without me asking him to.. knowing how much it would mean to MM and I.. he made sure the tour was set up to be home for Karwachauth... No one (is) like my guy... May a love like this find you all... Happy Karwachauth," she wrote.

While Nick's thoughtful gesture won hearts, Priyanka's festive outfit quickly became a talking point among fashion enthusiasts.

The 44-year-old actor opted for a striking red ensemble by designer Masaba Gupta. The outfit featured a halter-neck kurta with peplum detailing at the hem, complemented by intricate gold embroidery.

She paired it with matching sharara pants and a red dupatta adorned with embroidered motifs.

According to reports, the ensemble is priced at approximately Rs 1.4 lakh, although it has not yet been listed on the designer's website.

Reacting to Priyanka's pictures, Masaba commented, "You are the best. And you all look fabulous. Thank you for wearing my work so beautifully."

Jewellery and makeup complete the festive look

Priyanka elevated her traditional ensemble with statement accessories, including a studded three-layer necklace, matching earrings, red bangles and a hathphool.

She also completed the look with a wristwatch.

For her beauty look, the actor opted for a classic festive combination featuring red sindoor, a matching bindi and bold red lipstick, complemented by a hint of blush and defined mascara.

She initially styled her hair in a bun before switching to a centre-parted, straight hairstyle for some of the photographs.

Daughter Malti also wore an outfit by Masaba Gupta, twinning with her mother in red, while Nick complemented the duo in a traditional white kurta set.

Nick Jonas praises Priyanka Chopra's parenting

The couple's adorable Karwa Chauth celebration comes shortly after their appearance on the Hey Jonas podcast, where Priyanka opened up about how motherhood has transformed her life.

Speaking about the demands of parenting, she admitted that motherhood had made her realise she was capable of much more than she had previously imagined.

"I thought I could not function without those 8 hours of sleep, but today we are awake almost every one and a half hours, and we are functioning well; we are okay," she shared, recalling a time when Malti was unwell.

Nick, meanwhile, had some heartfelt words for his wife, praising the way she raises their daughter.

He admired Priyanka's patience and gentle approach to parenting, saying that the way she communicates with Malti is something he deeply appreciates.

He also praised her ability to balance motherhood with an exceptionally demanding professional life, noting that despite travelling the world and managing multiple commitments, she remains a present mother, partner and friend.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December 2018 in a series of traditional Christian and Hindu wedding ceremonies in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, through surrogacy in January 2022.

On the professional front, Priyanka is gearing up for her next big-screen appearance in SS Rajamouli's upcoming film Varanasi, which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
