Srinagar/IBNS: Jammu and Kashmir's film tourism is undergoing a vibrant revival, with over 300 movies and serials shot since the introduction of the new film policy two years ago.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha declared this resurgence during the inauguration of the TV Serial "Pashmina," emphasizing the policy's positive impact on the region.

The Lieutenant Governor remarked, "J&K is once again emerging as a favorite film destination. The era of 1980 when Hollywood and Bollywood films were shot in Kashmir is returning," reported Good Morning Kashmir.

The unveiling of the TV serial "Pashmina" signifies another stride towards revitalizing film tourism in the Union Territory, with the potential to boost the local economy and create opportunities for the youth.

Jammu and Kashmir's allure as a cinematic backdrop has been reignited, echoing its cultural richness and scenic beauty. This resurgence not only honors the region's film legacy but also propels it into a promising era of growth and creative rejuvenation.
