Bollywood's disco king Bappi Lahiri dies

Mumbai: Music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri, often described as the king of disco music in Bollywood, passed away on Wednesday. He was 69.

He died in Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital.

Lahiri had been in hospital for a month and had been discharged on Monday.

But he was again admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after his health deteriorated, UNI reported.

Bappi Lahiri was suffering from multiple health issues.

"He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight," doctors treating him told UNI.
