After 3 years, Prosenjit Chatterjee’s Daktar Kaku finally hits theatres: ‘Right time to release’
Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali film icon Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer thriller drama Daktar Kaku was last week premiered at South City in the presence of the film’s cast and crew, along with several personalities from the Bengali film fraternity.
The premiere evening saw actors Kaushik Sen and Reshmi Sen in attendance to support their son Riddhi Sen, who is part of the film.
The event was also attended by Kaushik Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Ujaan Ganguly, Srijit Mukherji, Rudranil Ghosh and others.

Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee said, "I would like to thank all the viewers. I would say if the people watch this film in the hall, especially the Bengali viewers for whom we make our films, they will say that it is all Pavel's credit. We have supported him, we have worked with him. It is a good Bengali family film."
Directed by Pavel, Daktar Kaku features Prosenjit Chatterjee in the titular role and is presented by Metatron Productions in association with Saregama.
"The release has been delayed for 3 years. Now that we think of it, it's better we waited because I think it's the right time to release the film. The crisis that we are facing, I think people will connect with it," actor Ridhhi Sen added.

Following the premiere, the team of Daktar Kaku has been visiting different cinema halls to interact with audiences and thank them for their support and encouragement.
