Speaking at the celebration, Sen said, "In crafting 'Pradhan,' my aim was not just to entertain, but to offer a poignant reflection on the complexities of political administration and social justice. Working with Dev and Paran Bandopadhyay has been an incredible journey, as they flawlessly captured the essence of their demanding roles.

"Additionally, the captivating performances delivered by Soham and Anirban left the audience mesmerised. Through the lens of our protagonist, Deepak Pradhan, the film not only intend to highlight the thought and discussion about the challenges faced by people, but also seeks to inspire audiences to reflect on the importance of integrity and courage in the face of corruption and injustice."

Pradhan, which released on December 23, 2024, revolves around Deepak Pradhan (Dev), an honest cop, who is transferred to a fictional village of Dharmapur with his wife Rumi (Soumitrisha), where he learns the history of the place and witnesses corrupt and vile practices of the local Panchayat head Jatileshwar Mukherjee (Anirban Chakraborti) with the help of another fellow police officer Bibek (Soham), and his landlord, a former headmaster of a local school Jibon Krishna Sarkar (Paran Bandyopadhyay) and Krishna's wife Shanti (Mamata Shankar).
