Makers unveil trailer of Dhrubo Banerjee's 'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jio'

Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of filmmaker Dhrubo Banerjee's upcoming Bengali film 'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jio' was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday.

Lead actors Kharaj Mukherjee, Riddhi Sen, Ujan Chatterjee, Ditipriya Roy, Sudip Dhara, Jeet Sundor, Mithun Gupta delivered a skit leading up to the trailer launch which took place at Gyan Mancha here. 

'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo' is a comedy franchise masterpiece conceived by author Rajkumar Moitra.

Set in the 1980s, 'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo' also stars Rajatabha Dutta, Aparajita Adhya, Kaushik Sen, Ditipriya Roy, Ujan Chatterjee, and Riddhi Sen.

Speaking of the film, Dhrubo Banerjee said, "With 'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo,' we aim to revive the lively spirit of the '80s and bring forth a unique blend of storytelling and humor that transcends generational boundaries.

"It's a cinematic journey that promises laughter, nostalgia, and a heartwarming experience for audiences of all ages." 

In anticipation of the film's release, Riddhi, Ujan, Ditipriya, Sudip, Jeet, and Mithun shared together, "We poured our hearts into this project, and we believe 'Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo' is a cinematic treat that will resonate with audiences of all ages.

"It's a journey that celebrates the essence of family, laughter, and the timeless spirit of the '80s." 

The film, which is produced by Jio Studios and SVF Entertainment, is to release in theatres on November 24.
