Directed by Aritra Mukherjee, with story by Zinia Sen and screenplay and dialogues by Sen and Godhuli Sharma, the film features a lead ensemble cast of Mimi Chakraborty, Soham Majumdar, Bonny Sengupta and Swastika Dutta.

Composed and written by Anupam Roy and sung by Roy alongside Srijita Mitra, “Tumi Ke” introduces the film’s atmospheric world through a sensuous tango rhythm and visually striking staging.

The music video showcases the actors in classic tango-inspired costumes in deep reds, pinks and blacks, amplifying the number’s dramatic and elegant tone. Moody lighting and an intimate, tango-hall-inspired setup create a sophisticated visual mood with a contemporary Bengali touch.

Actor Soham Majumdar described shooting the song as a “childhood dream come true,” adding that he performed despite running a fever. “Sharing the screen with Mimi—whom I grew up watching—was surreal,” he said, praising co-stars Bonny Sengupta and Swastika Dutta for their support.

Calling the track “special,” Bonny Sengupta said he recognised its uniqueness from the first listen. He credited director Aritra Mukherjee and choreographer Maggie for pushing the team creatively and said the collaborative energy on set enhanced the final product.

With its captivating visuals and evocative score, “Tumi Ke” sets the tone for Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel, signalling an ambitious and stylish start for Windows Productions’ first venture into the horror-comedy genre.
