Anirban Chakrabarti back as Eken Babu with The Eken, Ruddhaswas Rajasthan

Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali actor Anirban Chakrabarti will be back as sleuth Eken Babu on-screen with his upcoming film The Eken, Ruddhaswas Rajasthan.

Chakrabarti will be joined by actors Suhotro Mukhopadhyay and Somak Ghosh to anchor the cast of the film, which will be directed by Joydeep Mukherjee.

Rajatava Dutta, Sandipta Sen will be joining the team this time who will be in the pivotal roles.

Subhadeep Guha, the man who has garnered appreciation for his musical tracks of Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, is the background scorer of this film.

Rammyodip Saha will be doing the cinematography this time.

The upcoming mystery hunt film of the ingenious Bangali detective enjoying his vacation in colourful Rajasthan with Bapi and Pramatha suddenly comes across the mystery that turns their world upside down.

The story is based on the original story of Ekenbabu by Sujan Dasgupta.

The shooting will begin on Dec 1. It will mostly be shot in two Rajasthan cities, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.

The film is slated for 2023 release.
