Mumbai, Apr 28 (IBNS): Tu Tu Hai Wahi, a song which was enacted by Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor in film Yeh Vaada Raha, has been played by the Chinese to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day trip to China.

Modi was seen listening to the music of the song with Chinese President Xi Jinping by his side.

A delighted Kapoor took to Twitter to thank the song's composer R.D. Burman, who is also known as Pancham.

In a tweet, the actor said: "Tu Tu Hai Wahi (Original Version) Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle | Yeh Vaada... https://youtu.be/hjfzFVw2Zjo  via @YouTube. The Chinese played our song to welcome PM Modi along PM Xi in Wuhan. Honored. Thank you Pancham!"

Modi will conclude his China trip on Saturday.
