Mumbai/IBNS: Putting all the speculations over the run time of his upcoming release 'Fighter' to rest, director Siddharth Anand has said the film will roll for 2 hours and 40 minutes at the theatres.

Siddharth responded after rumours claiming the film will run for 3 hours 10 minutes went strong.

In an X post, the director said, "#Fighter run time rumours. Real run time is under 2 hours 40 minutes."

'Fighter' features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and veteran Anil Kapoor in the lead.

While Hrithik and Deepika play Squadron Pilots, Anil Kapoor features as Commanding Officer in the Air Force.

This is the first film where Hrithik and Deepika, who have been in the movie business for years, have worked together.

Two songs from the films, 'Sher Khul Gaye' and ''Ishq Jaisa Kuch' have already been trending on social media.

While Hrithik and Deepika scorch the dance floor in 'Sher Khul Gaye', the other song captures the sizzling chemistry between the two actors.

The film is slated to be released on January 25, 2024 on the occasion of the country's Republic Day (January 26).

Siddharth had previously directed Hrithik in two of his films, 'Bang Bang' and 'War' while Deepika in 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and 'Pathaan'.
