Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Vijay Varma's chemistry with superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Jaane Jaan' is one of the key highlights of the film, which was released by Netflix on Thursday.

The thriller not only has captured Kareena as a murder suspect but also delved on her romance with Vijay.

Now on shooting the romantic scenes, Vijay has opened up revealing how nervous he was to play certain scenes with Kareena, who turned 43 on Thursday.

Speaking to Shehnaaz Gill, Vijay said as quoted by The Indian Express, "There is a scene, where she’s looking at me in a certain way, and she’s singing. Jaise woh scene aaya, mere toh paseene chutt gaye. Aap nahi handle kar sakte unko. (As soon as that scene came, I was a bundle of nerves. You cannot handle it). She is very hot yet extremely charismatic."

Crux of the film

On her 43rd birthday, Kareena's digital debut project, 'Jaane Jaan', was released on Netflix on Thursday.

The film, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead, is a thriller set in West Bengal's Kalimpong district.

Kareena, who is Maya D'Souza in the film, is stalked by Naren, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, who senses something wrong in Maya's place.

In the meantime, Vijay Varma, who plays a cop, comes to Kalimpong in search of Maya's husband and eventually falls in love with her. Vijay and Jaideep were shown as old friends.
