The Kashmir Files is shattering BO records, beats Aamir Khan's Dangal

Mumbai: Anupam Kher's The Kashmir Files is shattering all records at the Box Office as the movie earned Rs. 116.45 crores so far till Friday.

The movie hit the silverscreen on Mar 11.

On Friday, the movie earned Rs. 19.15 crores at the Box Office.

The collection was made on a day when the country observed Holi.

Film critic Taran Adarsh said the movie's performance was at par with the business done by SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2' of Rs 19.75 crore at the end of eighth day.

It performed higher than Dangal (Rs.18.59 cr).

The movie is currently screened on 4000 screens and more are counting.

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, a film based on video interviews of the first generation victims of the Kashmiri Pandit community's genocide in 1990, opened in theatres on Friday with a promising box office figure amid a rave review by the audience among whom it touched an emotional chord.

Apart from Kher, the film also features Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
