Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passes away, actor says 'I feel an unbearable pain'

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's ailing mother Aruna Bhatia passed away Wednesday morning.

Akshay himself informed about the sad news to his fans and followers on Twitter.

The actor on the micro-blogging site said he was feeling "an unbearable pain" at this loss in his life.

He tweeted, "She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti."

After his mother was admitted to hospital, Akshay, who was shooting for 'Cindrella', flew back from London to Mumbai Monday.

Mourning his mother's demise, Akshay's 'Airlift' co-star Nimrat Kaur tweeted, "So very sorry for your profound loss. Deepest condolences and my heartfelt prayers to you and the whole family in this grave hour. Satnaam wahe guru."

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted, "Dear Akki, very sad to hear of the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family .."
