Mumbai, Mar 3 (IBNS) Margarita, with a Straw, the film starring Kalki and directed by Shonali Bose, has done the rounds of the international film festivals. The film has received rave reviews from people who have seen it across the globe.

It is a coming of age film and Kalki many said has delivered a phenomenal performance which leaves you with a smile in the end.

When Aamir Khan saw the film, he absolutely loved it. So, he decided to come on board to launch the trailer of the film.

Says Shonali, "On watching Margarita, with a Straw Aamir's first response to me was - India must see this - what can I do! It reminded me of Cameron Bailey’s, (Artistic Director - Toronto) statement - “this film will transform the way people see the world."

"I’m thrilled and utterly grateful to have Aamir launch our trailer and poster so that Indian audiences can see what he and the world have been wowed by. I am most excited for our India release - more than any part of the world." adds Shonali.

The launch event will be taking place on  March 4.
