London: The United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) and Jammu Kashmir National Independent Alliance are planning to organize a demonstration in front of the Pakistan High Commission in London on Sept 14 to protest against the illegal detention of activist Tanveer Ahmad in Pakistan.

Around 200 people are expected to join the demonstration.

Tanveer was tortured and arrested after his hunger strike and soon after he removed a Pakistani flag from Dadyal in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on August 14, reports ANI.

He has been reportedly taken to Mirpur Central Jail.

The United Kashmir People this month launched a worldwide campaign to support Tanveer Ahmad.
