Turkish jets shot down Russian warplane

Ankara, Nov 24 (IBNS): Turkey on Tuesday said a warplane believed to be a Russian type SU-24 has been shot down on Tuesday for violating Turkey's airspace, media reports said.

The Russian type SU-24 was shot down by Turkish jets , reports said.

Turkish jets shot down a warplane believed to be a Russian type SU-24 for violating Turkey's airspace near its border with Syriaon Tuesday, Turkish presidential sources told Anadolu Agency.
