Syria: 2 killed in explosion

Salamia, Feb 26 (IBNS) At least two people were killed as massive explosion hit Salamia city in Syria, a monitor said.

Militant group IS is suspected to be behind the attack.

" A massive explosion has been heard in Salamia city caused by IS suicide car exploded at the entrance of the city what killed 2 soldiers and wounded others. Clashes taking place between IS and NDF around al-Mafkar and al-Taiba villages in Salamia countryside amid mutual bombardment from both sides," Syrian Observatory for Human Rights website said.

"An IED exploded in a car on Khnefes road in the eastern countryside, what wounded a man," it said.
