London/IBNS: The heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, has tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time and is currently in home isolation.

The 73-year-old had to cancel his attendance at an event in the English city of Winchester on Thursday after testing positive for the infection, a statement from his official Twitter account said.
He was scheduled to unveil a statue of a Jewish businesswoman from medieval times.
In a statement on the same, the Clarence House tweeted: "This morning The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating.

"HRH is deeply disappointed not to be able to attend today's events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible."

This is the second time he has tested positive. Prince Charles first tested positive for coronavirus in late March 2020.
