Pakistan: Murder convict hanged
Multan, Mar 24 (IBNS) A person, who was found guilty of murder, has been hanged in Pakistan's Multan Central Jail on Tuesday, media reports said.
The person has been identified as Nasrullah.
"Nasrullah, who hailed from Muzafargarh, had been convicted for killing a man who had appeared for a court hearing in 1994," Dawn News reported quoting jail sources.
A court in Muzaffargarh had awarded him death sentence in 1994.
The Pakistan government last year approved the removal of moratorium on death penalty.
