Pakistan: Gas explosion in Islamabad leaves one dead

Islamabad: An explosion triggered by a gas leak led to the death of one person and injury of four persons in Pakistan's Islamabad city, media reports said on Monday.

The incident occurred on Islamabad’s Sector H-13 on Sunday.

According to police, one person died on the spot while four other people including women were critically injured due to a gas explosion. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, reports Ary News.

The deceased person was identified as Shah Jahan.

The hospital sources told ARY News that five injured were receiving medical assistance at the hospital.
