Quetta: A blast rocked Pakistan's Hazarganj area on Sunday, media reports said.

According to police sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in a motorcycle, reports Dawn News.

The blast occurred in the city on a day when the 11-party anti-government Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance held its power show in Ayub Stadium in Quetta.

The Balochistan government had asked the alliance to postpone the rally amid fear of security threats.
