Pyongyang, Feb 15 (IBNS): North Korea has confirmed the death of its leader Kim Jong-un's half brother Kim Jong-nam, media reports said.

Jong-nam was killed in a poison attack on Monday in Malaysia.

The attack took place in the Kuala Lumpur airport, BBC reported.

No motive has been found so far behind the killing.

Jong-nam was reportedly a critic of his brother's leadership qualities, terming it as inadequate in a 2012 book.
