Nepal envoy confident Himalayan nation will get more COVID-19 vaccine doses from India

Kathmandu: Nepal's envoy to India Nilamber Acharya has expressed happiness over India giving 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Himalayan nation.

He also expressed confidence that the country will be getting more doses of the vaccine from the neighbouring nation.

Speaking to ANI, Acharya said India is a good neighbour and friend.

“We are grateful to the Indian Government for gifting 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. We are confident that we will get more vaccines, that we have ordered. We thank the Indian government and people, they are a good neighbour and friend,” the ambassador said.
