Kashmir violence: Pakistan observes 'Black Day'

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Kashmir is not an internal issue of India.

"Indian brutality in Kashmir is condemnable. No country is allowed to violate basic human values," he said in his message as quoted as saying by Geo News.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday criticised Pakistanfor its recent remarks over the ongoing violence in the Kashmir Valley and said the neighbouring nation does not need to think about the Muslim people staying in this country.

"The Pakistan which could not even keep itself united will worry for the Muslims living in India,"Singh said.

"India will think about its people," he said.

He said Pakistan is responsible for the violence in Kashmir.

"Pakistan is playing a dirty game in Kashmir," he said as he hit out at the neighbouring nation over the ongoing violence in the Valley.

India on Friday rejected Pakistan's decision to observe July 19 as a "Black Day" in a bid to mark solidarity with Kashmiris.

India reacted to the issue and in a statement, the MEA said: "India completely and unequivocally rejects  in entirety the decisions adopted by the Cabinet of Pakistan on the situation  in Jammu and Kashmir."

Pakistan on July 10 condemned the killing of top Hizb Commander Burhan Wani in Jammu and Kashmir by Indian security forces.
