Indonesian police plane with 13 people on board goes missing

Jakarta, Dec 3 (IBNS): An Indonesian police plane with 13 people on board en route to the island of Batam in south of Singapore went missing on Saturday, media reports said.


According to reports, the plane, carrying five crew members and eight passengers, lost contact on Saturday morning after 50 minutes of its take off from Bangka island off the southeast coast of Sumatra island.

The plane is feared to have crashed between the islands of Mensanak and Sebangka or Gentar..

A search team has been deployed to find the missing plane.
