“I am dead for coffee!” Netanyahu jokes in video that shuts down all death conspiracies

| @indiablooms | Mar 15, 2026, at 10:55 pm

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put an end to all speculation about his whereabouts by sharing a video on his official X account, showing him enjoying a cup of coffee.

The video effectively quashed widespread conspiracy theories circulating on social media, which falsely claimed that Netanyahu had been killed in an Iranian strike.

In the clip, Netanyahu is seen ordering coffee at a café and joking about the death rumours. Referring to the false reports, he quipped: “I am dead for coffee.”

Earlier in the day, Netanyahu’s office had dismissed all speculation about his death. “Benjamin Netanyahu is fine,” the Prime Minister’s office said on Saturday, putting the rumours to rest.

Escalating Tensions in the Middle East

Iran’s powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has publicly vowed to target Netanyahu as tensions in the region continue to escalate.

“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the IRGC stated on its official website, Sepah News, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

Viral Claims About Video Authenticity

Speculation about the video’s authenticity arose after some social media users noted a peculiar frame in which Netanyahu raises his hand. Certain users claimed it appeared as though he had six fingers — a glitch they argued is commonly seen in AI-generated videos.

The moment occurs around the 0:35 mark, where the extra flesh near the little finger led some to claim the video might have been artificially generated.

Netanyahu’s office responded firmly when questioned by Anadolu Agency, calling the rumours “fake news” and reaffirming that the Prime Minister is safe.
