'Hijacked' Libyan passenger plane lands in Malta
Valletta, Dec 23 (IBNS): In a possible hijack, a Libyan passenger plane has been forced to land in Malta, media reports said.
The Airbus A320, with 118 people on board, was flying inside Libya, reports said.
The flight belongs to Afriqiyah Airways.
Malta International Airport said in its official Twitter handle: "MIA confirms there is an unlawful interference at the airport.Emergency teams dispatched.Visit http://www.maltairport.com for flight info."
