Beijing: A Covid-19 patient in Hong Kong, who fled from hospital only to be captured more than two days later, has been jailed for four months, reports South China Morning Post.

A judge condemned him for his “very selfish” act.

The person told a court he feared the jabs and treatment.

Kowloon City Court initially sentenced Li Wan-keung to six months behind bars on Friday, after he fled Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 18, reports South China Morning Post.

China is believed to be the nation from where the disease originated.

COVID-19 has now spread across the globe.
