Burkina Faso hotel siege ends?
The attack by gunmen on the Splendid Hotel has left at least 23 people killed.
Four attackers were killed, two of them women, officials told BBC.
According to reports, 126 hostages have been freed from the hotel.
On its webiste, SITE Intelligence group, a US-based monitor group said: "Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed credit for the raid at the Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, reporting its execution by the recently-joined al-Murabitoon Battalion."
