Birstall, Jun 16 (IBNS): British MP Jo Cox has died after being attacked in her constituency in Yorkshire in England on Thursday, reports said.
Cox was 41.

A mother-of-two, Cox represents the opposition Labour party.

BBC quoted a witness as saying that she was shot three times and also stabbed by a man in his 50s in the village of Birstall in Yorkshire.

The incident took place in broad daylight on Thursday that reportedly caused campaigning for next week's EU referendum to be suspended.
