Bimstec security chiefs meet to discuss security threats
New Delhi, Mar 21 (IBNS) : The national security chiefs of the Bimstec countries held their first meeting in the national capital on Tuesday with the objective of strengthening cooperation and tackling security challenges.
"Strengthening cooperation to counter security challenges," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay tweeted.
"First Meeting of National Security Chiefs of Bimstec countries held in New Delhi today," he said.
The participants represent Bimstec member countries- Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal.
