Berlin: Truck rams crowd in Christmas market, 12 killed
Berlin, Dec 20 (IBNS): A truck ploughed into a Christmas market at Berlin city in Germany on Monday, killing at least 12 people and injuring 50 others, media reports said.
"It is suspected that the truck was stolen from a construction site in Poland.The investigations are still ongoing. #Breitscheidplatz," the police tweeted.
The driver has been reportedly arrested.
"The market is at Breitscheidplatz, close to the Kurfuerstendamm, the main shopping street in the city's west," BBC reported.
