Dhaka, Mar 12 (IBNS) At least six people were killed as a roof of a cement warehouse collapsed in Bangladesh's Bagerhat district on Thursday, media reports said.

The incident left at least 30 others injured while several others are feared trapped underneath the debris, reports said.

The injured have been admitted to different medical facilities across the district.

The roof collapsed when around 100 people were working at the extended part of an under-construction mill of Mongla Cement Factory, Joynal Abedin, unit chief of Bagerhat fire brigade, was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.

A high official at Sena Kalyan Sangstha seeking anonymity told The Daily Star that at least 90 people were working at the building during the accident.
