Bangladesh celebrates Independence and National Day

Dhaka, Mar 26 (IBNS): Bangladesh is celebrating its 46th Independence and National Day on Saturday.

President Abdul Hamid, prime minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia have wished the nation on the occasion of  Independence and National Day.

National flag will be hoisted on the top of Government and private buildings across the country. Different programs will be observed across the nation to mark the occasion.

In the morning, Hasina and President Abdul Hamid paid homage by placing wreaths  at National Mausoleum in Savar.
