Afghanistan: 7 Taliban killed
Kabul, July 11 (IBNS): An air and ground operation in the Alingar district of eastern Laghman province of Afghanistan on Tuesday left at least seven Taliban killed, media reports said.
The attack left eight others injured.
Maj. Sherin Agha Faqiri, spokesman for 201 Selab Military Corps, told country's Pajhwok Afghan News the militants wanted to disturb the security situation in the district but faced strong resist from the security forces.
According to reports, security personnel and civilians suffered no casualty in the attack.
