Yesteryear Bollywood actress Meenaakshi Sheshadri impresses fans with her new uber-cool look

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Meenaakshi Sheshadri, who has left the path of stardom and remains away from limelight in recent years, left her fans impressed with her new haircut.

The actress, who had gained attention with her performance in 80s and 90s movies, shared her image with her new haircut on Twitter.

She captioned the image simply as: "New look!"

Meenaakshi made her film debut in 1983 with Painter Babu.

The Bollywood beauty, however, earned national fame with Hero opposite Jackie Shroff.

While she acted opposite all top actors of Bollywood, her powerful performance in crime-courtroom drama Damini, along with Sunny Deol and Rishi Kapoor, earned accolades.

She worked in films like Love Marriage, Mahaguru, Meri Jung, Ghar Ho To Aisa, among others.

After her marriage, she shifted to the US with her husband Harish Mysore. They have two children.

She runs a dance academy named Cherish Institute of Dance in the US.
