Will Fitoor make 'body sculpting' the new in thing?
Mumbai, Dec 29 (IBNS): If one goes by Aditya's new avatar for 'Fitoor', one can surely start believing that, flaunting six- or eight-pack abs for a film have become passe.
Aditya Roy Kapur has taken a different route to showcase a well-toned physique in his next- 'Fitoor'. He has opted for body sculpting.
“Aditya has always had an athletic physique, but for 'Fitoor', that stars Katrina Kaif — he decided to take up body sculpting to develop a completely different look from what has been seen of him before,” says a source.
Body sculpting or core conditioning is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning regimen that usually focuses on one’s core strength. “It is a technique that is used to shape the muscles in one’s body to perfection without bulking it up in any way,” adds the source.
Aditya Roy Kapur completely surrendered to his director for the character and transformed himself as per Abhishek Kapoor's vision of him.
Aditya shared, “What I love, as an actor, is the endeavour to adapt yourself to the character that you are playing. For this one, my director had a vision for me, and it meant I had to drop more weight to look a certain way. I guess if you change the way you look then you change the way you feel too. The process was gruelling, but it taught me a lot about myself.”
Fitoor stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif opposite each other for the very first time. In fact, the source further adds "They both are looking good in the film and share a sizzling chemistry, as seen in the aamsutra ads"
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Fitoor is all set to release next year on Feb 12, 2016, around the Valentines day.
