What’s the hurry buddy: AR Rahman mourns KK's untimely demise
Mumbai/IBNS: Legendary music composer AR Rahman, who gave late singer Krishnakumar Kunnath his debut playback in films, has lamented the loss saying 'artists like you made this life more bearable'.
"Dear KK ..what’s the hurry buddy ..gifted singers and artists like you made this life more bearable..#RIPKK," AR Rahman posted.
KK was introduced as a playback singer with AR Rahman's hit songs "Kalluri Saaley" and "Hello Dr." from Kadir's Kadhal Desam and then "Strawberry Kannae" from AVM Productions' musical film Minsara Kanavu (1997).
He had his Bollywood debut with the song "Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se" from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).
KK died of a heart attack on Tuesday after performing at a concert in Kolkata. He was given a gun salute by Kolkata police personnel in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and his family members here on Wednesday.
His flower-bedecked coffin was placed on a makeshift platform on the precincts of city' cultural hub Rabindra Sadan with Kolkata.

KK was performing at Nazrul Mancha for a college fest on Tuesday evening when he felt uncomfortable after singing for an hour.
He returned to the hotel where he had put up, but was rushed to CMRI Hospital after his condition deteriorated and he collapsed.
KK was known for his unforgettable tracks like "Tadap Tadap", "Bas Ek Pal", "Aankhon Mein Teri", "It's The Time To Disco" and non-film songs such as "Pal".
