Kolkata, Aug 8 (IBNS): Speaking about her absence from films for three years, Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor said she was waiting for a project like War which is all set to hit the big screens in October.

When asked by IBNS about why she was absent from Bollywood after Befikre in 2016, Vaani, on the sidelines of Kolkata Fashion Expo here on Wednesday, said, "No there is no such reason. It is just the fact that the wait was little too much for the kind of projects that I wanted to be a part of. Now I have got a project like that."

In Befikre, Vaani was starred opposite Ranveer Singh. Her upcoming film features actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, who will be engaged in a fight onscreen.

Praising her new co-actor Hrithik, Vaani said, "I have always said that if one strips Hrithik Roshan of the fact that he is the best looking guy, a brilliant actor and the finest charismatic actor that we have in our industry, he is just a really phenomenal human being, a super kind and an amazing co-actor to have. I loved to work with him."

However, the 30-year old actress played safe when she was asked to choose one of the two actors who has impressed her more.

"They both are amazing and super nice human beings to work with. They come as normal human beings on set. As an audience, I am also looking forward to see them together onscreen," she said.

Vaani made her Bollywood debut with Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013. Siddharth Anand directorial War is slated to release on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
