Soorma collects Rs 17 crore at box-office

Mumbai, July 18 (IBNS): Former Indian Hockey team captain Sandeep Singh's biopic Soorma has collected over Rs 17 crore at the domestic box-office.

The film has gathered Rs 17.69 crore so far.

"#Soorma is ROCK-STEADY... Fri 3.20 cr, Sat 5.05 cr, Sun 5.60 cr, Mon 2 cr, Tue 1.84 cr. Total: ₹ 17.69 cr. India biz," business analyst and Bollywood movie reviewer Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The Diljit Dosanjh starrer narrates the story of Singh, who made a comeback to the national team after a gunshot injury left him in a wheelchair.

The movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi, Vijay Raaz and Satish Kaushik in crucial roles.
